    THE GOOD: Doug Mahnke managed to do this whole issue and his work is just really great. Meeting a new character is important and he illustrates everything we need to know about this character very well. The facial expressions really popped out in this issue and it's why Doug Mahnke is one of my favorites. The story is more getting to know this new character then anything else.     It's Zero month at DC and the first issue I read was Green Lantern #0. I am not too sure what to think of this concept like the initial New 52 concept I think it will be a hit or a miss over different comics but will be overall a good thing. We have the return of Doug Mahnke on art which was nice.This story we see the introduction of Baz the character who has been getting a lot of hype as bening the new Green Lantern who is a bit more rough around the edges than most other Lanterns.     As someone who respects Geoff Johns's lengthy run on Green Lantern even if I have rarely followed it, it was not the creative team or the ongoing story that brought me in to Green Lantern #0. For me, and probably many others, it was the introduction of Simon Baz which brought me to the book.
