A decent part 1 to what is hopefully a very good story arc in Geoff Johns' run on Green Lantern. It has a quick but much needed scene with John Stewart that goes in depth with his character which we haven't seen much during this run but hopefully will see more of in the future. Though you only see the Alpha Lanterns very briefly, this issue shows what happens that leads the Guardians into starting the Alpha Lantern project. There is many shocks and one death I personally did not see coming. It is a good epilogue and a good way to forshadow the Guardians' ten new laws.

Well it seems that they have done some changes to the Green Lantern Code. They added a new rulebook which I think sucks Ron Marz should burn for life for what he did. They did show some of John Stewart past but again showed that John was not as strong as Hal because Hal can creatre a fake planet but here's hoping that they do a mini series for him.Laira got some backstory too so that's all good before she apparently killed..Amon Sur was killed by Laira but I don't understand why these ones were different then there regular appearence like before?
