Green Lantern

Set in the One Year Later time frame this issue is the first which is aiming to set up the Sinestro Corps War.  Hal is first shown in Russia battling Rocket Reds while he is on the trail of Igneous Man and with this as the setup action is told both forward and backward from this point.  Apparently for the previous year Hal and two of his colleagues have been prisoners of a terrorist group, the more frustrating for Hal as he flied the fateful mission where he was caught without his ring.  Hal's present actions seem to be a reflection of this time spent in captivity as it seems to be influencing his actions to act in a way which is alarming to other heroes, among them Green Arrow, Alan Scott and the Global Guardians, all of whom are concerned that he is flaunting international treaties.  The issue is a good lead-in for the story arc with a solid story and good momentum behind it.
