    “Blackest Night” continues! As Hal Jordan and Barry Allen investigate a bizarre crime in Gotham City, they come face to face with one of their oldest allies – J’onn J’onzz, the Martian Manhunter! But their old friend is not there for reunions; he’s come for much more. Meanwhile, Sinestro seeks to rebuild his army and take his revenge on the being who would usurp it – Mongul!

    The first real step into the action of Blackest Night takes place here as Hal Jordan and Barry Allen are drawn to Gotham to discover who has tampered with the grave of Bruce Wayne, but it is not long before an answer begins to find them as the resurrected Martian Manhunter returns and not under such friendly circumstances - as a herald for the Black Lanterns he is upset that Barry and Hal did not stay dead and thus join him in the new Black Lantern Corps.  A lot of this issue unfolds as a drawn ...

    Bringing Order to the Universe 0

    Blackest Night. I feel like a betrayer of Marvel for jumping ship over to DC for Blackest Night. But it's really good.  This, well it's worth reading, I almost feel like it's worth reading when it comes out in the trade form, which I see no reason it won't. We get some action tying the first two issues of Blackest Night together in terms of where Hal falls in all of this and we get the Guardian, Scar, explaining that all this killing is just bringing order to a universe that needed it.
