The need for greed 0
The Rise of the Third Army storyline on Green Lantern: New Guardians has so far been rather slow paced. However, do not take that as a bad thing. You see, each issue Bedard delivers Kyle channeling a lantern color. Here, he masters avarice with the help of Larfleeze. Tony does a fantastic job by exploring the Orange Lantern a bit more, and actually giving him emotions. What I WANT 1
I have been loving Aaron Kuder's covers for the second year of New Guardians and this one is no exception. Sure the layout isn't exactly balanced, but somehow it just looks awesome. Maybe it's the way he makes The God of Hunger look so deliciously twisted.But more than that, I'm SO HAPPY that he's finally on interior art as promised. There is not much depth to this series at the moment but it nonetheless is dishing out the fun in significant doses as Kyle and Carol continue their journey across the cosmos looking to train him in the various emotional spectrum. Here that brings them face to face first with Larfleeze and then with the Third Army.
