A nut frenzy is going on after Ch’p and his race have been sleeping. Ch’p in one panel turns into a Green Lantern in the regular costume and stops them from fighting. In the next scene Ch’p is wearing overalls and is bored with being home. He throws the nut away and goes visit his friend Salakk. Salakk has been waiting as his power ring was disabled at the end of the Corps issue. Ch’p tells him that his ring told them they were new rings and new lanterns. After that it was off to Mosaic.

John wakes up to a bad dream screaming the road. It seems clear that he is not getting as much sleep as he needs. The problem is something keeps destroying the highway that the Mosaic world has and John is dedicated to stopping it. Ch’p decides to help. Ch’p finds a race of white little beings who have been destroying the Highway or so he thinks.

Ch’p goes into battle with them but a bigger unknown purple monster comes out and fights Ch’p. Ch’p somehow is able to separate him into two and make him die out. Ch’p appears to be stunned and calls for John. John after leaving Ch’p had gone back to bad as he arrives on the scene he sees that the Highway is destroyed and begins to pressure Ch’p about what he saw.

Ch’p doesn’t reply fully as John begins to lose his patience. Ch’p turns from John and runs toward oncoming truck which runs over the Green Lantern. John watches as Ch’p is dieing and asks him again what he saw. Ch’p replies. “Something Red” before dieing and his clothes changing back to overalls. The end scene is John Saying he is Death, Death is with him.
