    BRIGHTEST DAY! A whole new chapter in the epic GREEN LANTERN saga gets under way as Guy Gardner begins his secret mission for Atrocitus, bringing him into conflict with Hal Jordan with massive repercussions for the Green Lantern Corps! Guy also get permission from the Guardians to chart the uncharted sectors of space. What happens when they discover his mission and what's waiting for them in the patrolled darkness?

    Sector Zero, Planet Oa, Home of the Guardians of the Universe and the Green Lantern Corps: Guy Gardner is recording a message to Hal Jordan when he is interrupted by a security notification from his ring and flies off to find the stolen Rakkonium.

    Space Sector 3600: Guy uses extreme force to stop some space pirates from making a get away with stolen Rakkonium and some kidnapped physicists, into the Unknown Sector. Then Guy gets an idea, and requests a meeting with the Guardians.

    Back on Oa, inside the Planetary Citadel: Guy requests the Guardian allow him to chart the Unknown Sector, and to his surprise the Guardians agree with him. Guy then goes to find Ganthet, who is burying the Book of the the Black, with Lyssa Drax trapped inside. The two discuss the deal they made with Atrocitus, and it not sitting well with either of them. Guy then goes back to his recording and it turns out to be Guys last will and testament.

    Planet Ysmault, Home of the Red Lanterns: Atrocitus orders Bleez to go to the Unknown Sector and follow Guy on his mission, and mindless Bleez agrees.

    Planet Daxam: Sodam Yat, crashes to the planet surface, and is hidden by some kids.

    The Unknown Sector: A pair of brainwashed Green Lanterns bring their prisoners to the feet of Zardor, believing him to be the Guardians of the Universe.

    Do We Really Need a Third Green Lantern Title? 0

    If you're going to skip right down and argue with me after seeing my question, stop, because the answer is yes, yes we do. I mean, I'm not going to go all fanboy and say we need 10 Green Lantern titles, I just think that a lot of heroes need multiple titles. That way if you don't like an arc you're not stuck having to wait to read your favorite hero, and its always nice to see different creators takes on the same character or different sides of that character.
