Can I have a Green Salad?

The film is presented in a story tell format. It’s about several major characters in the Green lantern Corps.  The main story in the film is about a rookie, Arisia who just joins the corps before a huge confrontation with an enormous enemy, Krone who treats to destroy the universe and the Green Lanterns in it. The story is very interesting because presents different anecdotes about several Green Lanterns members.

    The Good

It’s a perfect entrance point for an audience who is not familiar with the members of the Green Lanterns Corps. The sub-plot presents there most significant members and their background stories. The main story flows with a nice narrative from beginning to end. The selection of the Green lantern in the film is spectacular.

    The Bad

The story is not about or touches in any relevant way to Hal Jordan besides getting to know future lover, Arisia for first time. A particular spaceship scene relevant to one of the stories is made with computer animated aids which is really different from the other image language in the film. You can live with it.

    The Veridict

It's an excellent film that is worth watching it. The film has great quality in animation and graphics. It’s an interesting story with great action and a nice flow in the way the narrative and events are presented by the storyteller. I strongly recommend to watch it but if you are a regular of the comics. You have to be aware that you already know the characterless better than the film can present to you. However, it's fun to watch again.

It’s perfect for fist time fans who are trying to prepare themselves to watch the blockbuster film with some knowledge about the Green Lanters Corps background. For new fans, I will recommend to watch the other Green Lantern cartoon movie which is more about Hal Jordan.

      A Movie For All 0

Unlike First Flight this movie is based on several of the major Green Lantern characters including Mogo, Abin Sur, Laira, Sinestro (his story is not entered into as much as the others but we did get to see his relationship with Abin Sur), as well as Atrocitus.   The story begins with a lantern who is on her way to speak with Kiliwog when she was attacked by shadow demons. We later find out during a meeting with the Guardians that Krona is attempting to attack Oa through Oas sun and destroy them....

An Interesting Take on the Corps 0

Once again DC has released a good quality original animated movie. This movie is clearly intended to give the uninitiated some insight into the Green Light corps in advance of the upcoming big screen feature. That being said this a great animated production. I like how if focused on the entire corps and not just anyone lantern, giving us some insight as to what is expected of a lantern. I epically enjoyed the story of Mogo and Bolphungaa the Unrelenting, pure gold. Also any additional informatio...
