Revival
This is another issue which has the unfortunate requirement to follow on the end of Blackest Night and to try to capture the attention of the reader. There is enough going on here, just not as much of it seems as pressing as events two issues previous. Instead of the feeling of immediacy this feels a lot more relaxed as the reader is taken on a bit of a tour of Oa and its various inhabitants before any forward looking plot is established (well except for parts on Ysmault.) In fact some parts of the plot, such as with Ganthet serve no credible purpose at the moment. Still this is a pretty decent issue, and really it would be asking too much to expect more from it, but it still feels like it is lacking a lot in momentum.
