Two hearts attuned
After the kind of creepy lead-in this issue heads off in a slightly different direction than was being alluded to, and it does it fairly fast. In what seems to be a hallmark of Green Lantern or Green Lantern Corps issues in this era, the villain is quickly subdued and then a bunch of plot developments related to bigger things take over and leave the plot hanging on for a conclusion. The edict of the Guardians that Corps members not be romantically interested in each other takes an interesting turn here, both for two that were in love and seemingly two that soon will be. It is still a pretty fun read with enough going on to make it proceed at a decent pace, but as always with these titles it is left with more anticipation of things to come.
