This signals the return of the Corps with a new look and slightly revamped lineup.  As to what was happening before the reboot, the only real regular back is Guy (even though he was busier in his own series.)  He and John Stewart are the focus here, as their experiences on Earth reinforce to them why they are Corps members first and foremost, both by choice and by typecasting.  Although the issue is decently written, it feels pale in relation to the previous series with the same name.  that series built itself on a variety of heroes from across the cosmos and while a few Earth members always popped up, they were mostly part of a bigger team.  Here though the other members exist seemingly on as background filler (despite a funny enough exchange Salaak.)  Overall, not too bad, but it has some distance to go to get where the previous series was.

Is this series worth your time? HECK YES!  THE GOOD: I really liked that art, but I was expect greatness already knowing it was Fernando Pasarin. The story is really good. I liked it not because of the space police stuff but because we get to see these characters doing what they do normally. I definitely could get use t...
