    Blackest Night 6.5?

So with this anniversary issue we see Hal Jordan's response to Ganthet bringing in "honorary" inductees into all the Corps.  Throughout the issue we see the various interactions between these honorary members and the Corps respected leaders.  Most are welcome by their leaders.  One isn't.  I'll give you one guess on who doesn't want to share their power.
Moving on, the Spectre makes his grand appearance and seems to almost be beaten the same way most of the other Black Lanterns have been.  Almost being the key word.  When he is still standing after the attack Hal asks Ganthet to call the batteries that hold Parralax.
The question is will Hal's plan work?  Can he release Parralax and control it?  The last panels make you wonder and ends with you wanting to know more and will lead you to pick up Blackest Night 7 and Green Lantern #51.
At 3.99 the comic is worth the money.  The writing by Geoff Johns continues to entertain and take you in directions that could only be written by him.  The pencils by Doug Mahnke are nothing short of amazing.  If you're reading Blackest Night and for some strange reason you don't have this, you should be out the door before this sentence is finished.  Why are you still here?

SPOILER WARNING! First off, I can't believe that this is Jim Lee's artwork.  After seeing him work his magic in Batman: Hush and All-Star Batman and Robin, I find it hard to believe that he did this.  Not saying that this isn't good, it is.  It's just I've seen him do better.  Anyway, moving along.  First off, I just want to say that I love the idea of the Deputy Lanterns.  So much, in fact, that I really think that Barry Allen should remain a Blue Lantern and Scarecrow a Sinestro Corps Officer....
