This issue verged on excellence and only fell short of the mark for reasons of logistics, in that there is just so much going on that it will always take some time in this story arc to sort out what is going on and provide some basis for the new developments.  With that in mind, this issue is made of the stuff that makes comic book crossovers so magnificent - Carol battles Sinestro, a reunited Carol and Hal battle Sinestro, Indigo 1 intervenes and they all find themselves on Korugar where it is to Sinestro to take on Mongul, once this is accomplished ... well the plot twists and turns just keep coming.  Of course the Sinestro versus Mongul battle is the one which readers of the series have been anticipating ever since he took control of the Sinestro Corps and the result is as much of a result that anyone would want when two supervillains square off against one another.  Quite entertaining and Blackest Night is really making its mark by this point.
