So here we have the continuation of "Blackest Night" which really isn't a continuation at all. I know what my problem is. It's not my devastating good looks, nor is it my inexplicable crying whenever I hear "It's a Small World." It's my expectations for "Blackest Night." I need to stop visualizing "Blackest Night" as some physical object that has velocity, moving steadily towards a conclusion. This ride is going to have a ton of rest stops along the way and if I'm going to enjoy it I need to...

This issue verged on excellence and only fell short of the mark for reasons of logistics, in that there is just so much going on that it will always take some time in this story arc to sort out what is going on and provide some basis for the new developments. With that in mind, this issue is made of the stuff that makes comic book crossovers so magnificent - Carol battles Sinestro, a reunited Carol and Hal battle Sinestro, Indigo 1 intervenes and they all find themselves on Korugar where it is ...
