Art - Great lines and coloring. Not much more to say on that front...I thought it was going to bad because of the Hal's face, but once past that it was great.

Story - Finally an issue that isn't stretched or rushed. This is a really great issue where the story is evenly paced and really explores the characters of Hal, Carol, and especially Sinestro. This issue should have been a low point in the story what with the story only being they got captured and now they need to figure out a way out, but instead of it being low point it's turned into a really well done character piece. However this also seems to illustrate the point that this guy can write well for these characters but is being forced to write into this box of 6 issues per arc, or forcing himself into it, and that by doing so he is giving the fans crap, rather than the great stories he could be giving them... ie he or DC is ripping you off with this there must be 6 issues in an arc nonsense.

Characterization - While Carol and Hal are pretty much one note in this issue, as is the one named Sinestro Corp member, they are well done one noters, but the main star of this issue is Sinestro when he is confronted by Arsona and is forced to confront his actions of the past.

Recommendation - Buy it. You don't need to have bought the last 3 issues to get in on this one as you can pick up what's happening pretty quickly or can ask someone and it can be explained in a sentence or two. I also have to mention I'm looking forward to next month's issue and that will likely be a buy too ^.^

This is what I would call the first real Geoff Johns written Green Lantern issue thus far in the reboot.  Though responsible for the previous three the title as a whole has been a little weak since the end of Blackest Night.  This though is the first Green Lantern issue in the recent past which elicited a response from me that it was like the old times.  As usual with Johns he does it not with strong characters or original scenarios but rather with a combination of the two.  Particularly evident...

Geoff Johns was creative with the New 52 event. He gave Sinestro the power ring and now we get to see what's going on. What is going on in issue #4?  THE GOOD: I really like the art. It's very clean and shows a lot of details. I really like how the characters look different and it makes you want to look at the art while you read the amazing story. In this issue we get a little less fight a more talk. We get to see Hal locked up and Sinestro being tortured before being locked up. I really like se...
