GREAT issue and finale to a great series. Hal Jordan GL has always been my favorite superhero and Geoff Johns made him even greater. Rebirth will always be my favorite since I waited 10 years for them to bring back Hal Jordan but this was a really close second.

This was so much fun, like many people I thought the First Lantern was starting to drag a bit but this made it all worth it. I even like the other Lantern books everything was buttoned up and we're ready to move on to something new.

Awesome issue

This issue was amazing. I will say I had somewhat higher hopes for Black Lantern Hal but ultimately I think he solidified the prophecy of being the greatest BL. I've never read much GL before New 52 but this definitely makes me want to back track through John's past work. This run alone has made Sinestro my favorite Lantern of all time. His final words to Hal made me give an audible "awwwwww!" It was such a touching finale from an incredibly talented creative team that I will not soon forget. Thanks for the review.

Green Lantern #20 was an epic ending for the series!! I totally love the amazing character depth and development of Sinestro throughout the New 52

on the wiki page it says batman and superman are in it, are they in the background, do they speak or do they invite Hal back the justice league. if telling me means spoilers, DON'T

They're in the background of a minor scene about Hal's future.

I was really disappointed by The Rise of Third Army and Wrath of the First Lantern but this issue was just incredible.I loved it.There were some pages that just made me cringe.The best moment for me was when Sinestro said hi to Parallax and started controlling him.

Best 7.99 I ever spent lol. Amazing , that's all I can say. It was like watching the perfect movie , twists and turns , epic battles and closure. I don't get emotional about a comic book but there were parts that actually made me do the fist pump and smile. Thank you Geoff Johns!

PS. Sinestro is hands down the greatest Lantern and baddest motha$&@!! In the known universe IJS.

I'd pay like $20 for this issue, it;s freakin' amazing. Totally enjoyable. It's the first comic i read from my pull list this week and i don't think i can read any more comics ever let alone the rest of this week's books! Loads and loads of epic scenes. The best art scenes were the double page spread when Hal comes back from the dead with other dead people and the 4 page spread.

Such a great issue and series, GL is my favorite character. Sad to see Johns go but excited to see where the series heads next.

I finally got around to reading this issue and BOY did I like it, it was awesome. Favorite GL issue for sure!

As far as the future sequences go, I betting Johns felt it was his way of letting his characters grow up. Many we're his creations. Besides, if Morrison wants to come over an kill some of them, comics are never permanent

This was hand's down the best comic I read this week. It's a great end too run that was awesome. Geoff Johns developed Green Lantern in too something I would have not ever seen coming. He made Hal Jordan into one of the top DC Characters. Too see how he made the GL universe into of the best in the DCU. I will miss Johns on the book. He made something into one of the best comic's ever. I can't wait too see what is next in GL's future with Robert Venditti taking over the book. Thanks Geoff for a awesome nine year run.

Wrath of the first lantern was a rubbish story no doubt. But this was an excellent ending. Apart from the whole future of the characters nonsense. And finally we get to see a tiny bit of the emotional entities that are once again underused. I hope to see more of them.

Anticlimactic!

Amazing book. 10/10. I will miss John's run on GL. However, now like he did with Flash & Hal, it's time to give Aquaman that same treatment. Was it worth $7.99? HELL YES! There was never a doubt in my mind, that I should have paid less for this comic, in fact I'd even pay more for something this brilliant. Which IMO gives the competition a run for their money. Thank you Mr. Johns for doing what you do best & not only inspiring me, but millions of other comic readers also.

I just got into comics about 2 months ago, and this is my first GL issue. Haven't read it yet but hopefully it can be as enjoyable to someone jumping right in.

Johns has been phoning it in for a while now (though I def enjoyed the Indigo Tribe arc). Whatever happened to Zardor (wtvr his name is)? Or Sodam Yat? I guess we'll never know. #danglingplotthreads

@avenging_x_bolt: That part confused me. I thought I saw Tomar as a Green Lantern in battle? I have to look again.... but we never saw get out of the "dead zone"

its possible that he never died i the New 52. Or it could be a completely new person from Tomar's planet.

@avenging_x_bolt: I like the completely different "person" from that planet theory b/c in the story leading up to this final issue Tomar was right there with Hal in the Dead Zone.
