    Attack of the Third Army

In this issue we finally get to see a bit more of the Third Army. This arc has, so far, been really slow paced and, to be honest, this issue isn't much different. Baz is a very interesting character and has the potential to be one of my favorite Green Lanterns in the future. Here he finds the one person responsible for the explosion showed in the #0 issue. Inside the man's house his ring's battery ends, so he is as helpless as a mere human. It was nice to see him trying to fight off the Third Army, although he didn't have his powers.

The art is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't find a single panel in which the pencilling was inconsistent. It was detailed and the facial expressions looked real.

This issue is also full of action... scratch that. It's not really action. It's more of, what I'd call, Simon Baz and an agent from the FBI running from soldiers of the Third Army who are trying to kill them. Yeah, that sounds better. Anyway, we get nice shooting and explosion scenes, as you may have guessed by the picture.

The comic also shows Hal Jordan and Sinestro who were trapped inside that decaying place by Black Hand a few issues ago. Well, we don't really see much of them. There's just one page containing beautiful artwork and dialogue. Nevertheless, the cloaked man/woman does not have his identity revealed.

Overall, this was a great issue with a fairly nice amount of "action" and exceptional artwork, although the pacing still proves to be rather slow. And by the end, a Squirrel Lantern is shown! Green Lantern #15 gets 8/10.

This storyline has also been very interesting, and I am looking forward to what Rise of the Third Army leads in to.PlotThis issue sees Simon Baz attempting to clear his name by visiting the owner of the van he stole. Agent Fed is also on Baz' t...

The GoodFinally, after couple issues of having Simon Baz believed to be accused as a wanted criminal of a "terrorist attack" after 9-11, he is proven innocent by Agent Fed, not only to have the truth of the car explosion unravelled in front of their eyes. Geoff Johns answers lots of questions that we held going into the this issue, leaving some questions still to be clarified. Despite Baz having proved innocent in the eyes of Agent Fed, he still needs to settle his dispute with the Justice Leagu...
