The Space Ranger Strikes Back: Hal Jordan and his faithful side kick Tom Kalmaku are searching for the kid napped Carol Ferris. Their search leads them to Bruce Gordon who is in the process of changing into Eclipso. The villain fights Hal and destroys the build the three men are in. Hal tries to save Tom but is suddenly pulled into a Time Scoope.

The Time Scooper was started by the Solar Council and Chairman Dasor, in the year 5708. They need Hal's help with the Gorganians who are attacking earth. But something goes wrong and instead of ending up in the year 5708 Hal ends up in some other time and meets the Space Ranger.

Due to the Time Scope's mind wiping ability Hal has no idea who he is or where he's from. The only clue his the Green Lantern on his chest that matches a Green Lantern Battery the Space Ranger found. While showing Hal the battery the Gordanians attack and capture Hal, the Space Ranger and Cryll.

Now the Gordanians have the earth's protectors and are using a tractor beam to take earth to the Adaran system to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

The Gameplayers of Rann: Adam Strange returns to Rann to discover that Ranagar is holding some sort of games, much like earth's Olympics. Adam competes but keeps being beaten by Ravin, a stranger no one seems to know. Adam discovers that Ravin is really a Zeenon, an alien shapechanger that uses Solar power to preform superhuman feats. The Zeenon declares that if he can beat Rann's greatest champion the rest of the Zeenons will attack.

Adam uses quick thinking to freeze the Zeenon and thus defeating him. he explains to Alanna that because he beat the Zeenon one on one the rest will leave Rann alone. Just then the Zeta Beam radiation wears off and Adam is sent back to Earth, but he knows where the next Zeta Beam will hit and that will take him back to his love.
