It feels like it's been a while since the third season of Arrow ended. It really hasn't been that long but we're sort of in a new TV show drought. At San Diego Comic-Con in Hall H, Stephen Amell's new Arrow suit was revealed.

· Created by Arrow’s resident costume designer Maya Mani, who has also designed many of the show’s singular super suits — including those of Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), Speedy (Willa Holland) and Ray Palmer’s A.T.O.M. (Brandon Routh) — Oliver Queen’s latest Arrow incarnation is a dramatic renewal of his trademark leather, hooded vigilante gear.

· Returning for its fourth season Wednesday, October 7, at 8/7c on The CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, with John Barrowman and Paul Blackthorne, special appearance by Neal McDonough. The executive producers are Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Wendy Mericle and Sarah Schechter. Produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Arrow is based on the characters from DC Comics.

A highlight reel was also shown.

Lol well one live action archer has to have an awesome costume...

The third season kind of sucked with the exception of the Flash crossovers and developing characters like the Atom.

I would wear that outfit everywhere, every day, at every event, whether or not it was socially acceptable.

I was just about to buy the season 2 Arrow action figure then I got the update on the costume change and I'm glad I waited because I definitely want a figure akin to this one instead

Looks pretty good I hope season 4 is better then season 3 because that sucked and I can't stand felicity.

It's looks amazing and it's about time we got a GREEN Arrow show!

I stopped watching midway thru last season after they chumped out Deathstroke, and the whole "Next Ra's" schtick....but I'm loving this new suit, closer to the New52 suit which is very tactical, and just want to forget about season 3 and move fowarded onto season 4

I hope this is going to be a beefy stronger armor, maybe upgrading to fight metahumans? He looks like he could take a shotgun to the chest. Can't wait to see if this is just a different look or if these means he will be a lot more durable.

Also a possible name change, Stephen Amell posted the image on his facebook with the title "The Green Arrow." Let's hope that means he will get that name in the 4th season.

I think its quite hideous but I didn't like the first one he wore either.

Ollie's always had the worst outfit on the show to me so at least things are consistent.

Green Arrow has for the majority of his history worn a sleeveless costume. This is just bringing his look closer to that of his comic counterpart.

Also though Jeremy Renner is a good looking man I don't swing that way. (Just in case this was some weird attempt for you to get all up in my goody bag)

Oh I should probably comment on the topic of the suit itself. Looks okay. Leather pants is probably really uncomfortable though. And something has to make us forget that terrible 3rd season.

That suit is simply Amazing! Though the domino mask still looks kinda silly (as any domino mask would look in live-action), I am loving the new look.

Fun way to introduce the new suit: Green Arrow vs Stardust at SummerSlam!

Muuuch better than the previous costume. I hope this means we'll see updated versions of some other costumes as well (LAUREL AND THEA).

The highlight reel was fun, but it's strange that they left out the majority of Laurel's story, considering she was one of the best parts of the season.

If season 4 gaves us both Green Arrow and Birds of Prey that would be amazing. And team up of Black Canary and White Canary.

They should focus on giving us a less shitty story and not just a new costume.

Actually,the only reason I'll give a try to season four is because I hope they've learned from their mistakes in season three.Otherwise....screw it!

They really hit the mark with this suit.

I agree. Season 3 was ill conceived and poorly implemented. For Season 4 they need to do something about gawd-awful Laurel as Black Canary and jettison the Ollie-Felicity hook-up. Focus on the Green Arrow and Speedy taking down Damian Dark or dealing with the Tong Syndicate from earlier seasons. Something better than the Ra's plotline borrowed from Batman.

Suit looks cool, but I need more...maybe a mustache.
