Green Arrow
Character » Green Arrow appears in 4302 issues.
Oliver Queen was a spoiled, thrill-seeking playboy, until he was left stranded on a deserted island for several years. There, he trained to become a master archer in order to survive. After his return home, he used his new-found skills and his wealth to became the costumed vigilante known as Green Arrow.
pointless
dose anyone but me think that the brightest day green arrow book is pointless i mean really at leat genration lost, titans, birds of prey, and JLA/JSA had someone who was brought back to like. Green Arrow dosn't have that plus no one really likes the charecter, i pick it up just because its a brightest day book and may hold some answers to the rest of the series.

"No One Likes The Character"
what the horse-humping hell are you smoking?!?!?!
I personally like Green Arrow more than Batman (don't hurt me!!!), and when I hear people say nobody likes him I get hurt inside :(
I really like GA, my only qualm about him?
That freaking facial hair! It's stupid! Try concealing a secret identity when you have the most obvious facial hair imaginable!
I'm waiting on the trades for the series, though, so I can't debate about that.
i'm not smoking anything but seriously i got green arrow and black canary for like five issues and then stoped i hated that book green arrow was so stupid
@johnny spam:
how is he an important charecter he is not on a team all he dose is stay in that forest
The new run by JT Krul is amazing, if I may say so. While there might not have been a reason to completely restart the series back at issue 1, the way that Mr. Krul is taking him is very interesting. Since the events for Cry for Justice, Oliver has been devastated, his city destroyed, his old sidekick dismembered, his marriage and love of his life completely gone. Not only that, but he was exiled from his city as well, which doesn't help much. In these types of situations, most people would just cry and be depressed about it, and tell me, would you like to read about Oliver's adventures being depressed and crying about it? I highly doubt that would make a good story arc. JT Krul decided to make him a strong person and live in the random forest that came out of the decimated Star City. Oliver acts as Robin Hood for the most part, and now the true meaning of the forest is slowly being told, adding more depth to the story. While it isn't perfect, I honestly think it's a really good read.
