I'm very iffy about this show but this makes me happy.
Green Arrow
Character » Green Arrow appears in 4287 issues.
Oliver Queen was a spoiled, thrill-seeking playboy, until he was left stranded on a deserted island for several years. There, he trained to become a master archer in order to survive. After his return home, he used his new-found skills and his wealth to became the costumed vigilante known as Green Arrow.
Official Poster for The CW's 'Arrow' Released
Notice where they place "arrow" ; ) . Every once and a while innuendo gets the best of me and I have to laugh.
But let's get real, this is the CW. Someone rubbed his abs for the audition, their executives hire out of the Maxim pool, it's entirely superficial. Cheap, hot, and cognizant is the criteria, I'm not so distracted by his musculature to be skeptical.
I've been burned before! I think they spent more time weaving Laura Vandervoot's ridiculous extensions than they did stressing the nuances of her role as Supergirl.
EVERYONE'S MISSING IT!
Those aren't scars, they're tattoos. It's a map of the islands where he was marooned.
Josh Dallas would have been a much better fit if they have to make this at all, especially with the little beard/moustache combo he had in "Thor" - That's just not Ollie, but then neither is who they cast as Dinah. Oh, I mean Laurel.
*rolls eyes*
I suppose it's still better than casting someone with huge fake tits as Wonder Woman though.
There were times when I really liked Smallville (but never truly loved it) and times I was completely bored and times when I was so frustrated when they would change things so dramatically from the comics. But one thing I did like about Smallville was Hartley playing the Green Arrow (yes, it's true!). So, I'm going to miss him in the role. This guy looks great . . . but can he act? Can he overcome what promises to be schmaltzy dialogue and weak plots? A great bod (and his IS great!) and bedroom eyes does not get me hooked on a show.
I DO NOT THINK THIS GREEN ARROW IS CUTE, HIS FACE IS NOT UGLY BUT HE IS NOT SUPER SEXY OR THE MOST ATTRACTIVE MALE I HAVE SEEN, HE IS ONE MORE
Why Arrow and not Green Arrow? Smallville sucked don't insult Supernatural by mentioning it. lol And you assume Arrow is on long enough to feature Black Canary at all if they even plan to. Birds Of Prey lasted what, one season? Witchblade and Painkiller Jane barely one,yet Alphas gets renewed and it's awful.
Alright, good looking guy. Not saying I don't mind. I don't mind it at all. But. Really? They could've come up with a much better poster... that was more "Green Arrow" with him an actual costume and fuller facial hair [or in clothing period, really...] and less like an underwear add featuring David Beckham [not that I begrudge Mr. Beckham and those pieces of publicity either. I don't begrudge them at all].
I still have hopes for this show, but we'll see what happens. And, we'll all pretend he got those scars from his unhappy "excursion" on that deserted island where everything starts for Ollie, right? Come on, now. Optimism, people! It could totally explain how and where he got the bite mark from the hyped-up "badgerine." ;]
I have a feeling they're going to ripoff the Hawkeye being trained by Taskmaster, and make it Green Arrow trained by Deathstroke.

I agree. The warriors three dude from thor is perfect for this.
