I know that he wrote him a little while back. Is it worth reading?

The story arc was called Quiver. It was like 9 years ago. Kevin Smith is the dude who played Silent Bob in the Clerks movies and Mallrats

Yeah, it's worth reading (IMO).

I read a lot of Green Arrow and Quiver is amongst the best. It's heavy on DC Continuity, but Smith does a good job keeping it coherent. Even better than Quiver is The Sounds of Violence, the second arc he wrote.
(He also wrote and directed Clerks and Mallrats, and played Bob in Dogma and Chasing Amy and Jay and Silent Bob Strike back and Clerks 2, but you probably knew that)

@smeddy: Yeah I knew all that, but I didn't wanna go to in depth with him ;)

@Gambit1024: I just, literally just finished reading Quiver and it is excellent. Definitely worth a read.
