I'm not sure...it might be promising, but I never liked Smallville and that lasted like 10 seasons. If the guy grew out a bear he'd have a pretty good resemblance to Oliver.

I wonder if it will be seasons of him constantly shooting arrows at people and not a single death by arrow. This is TV and DC Comics character after all. I doubt they'd let him be a murderer.

As much as i want to rip on just the thought of the show,there's no use because im going to watch it as soon as its pilot episode hits.

I hope he uses Trick Arrows but given the apparent nature of the show he probably won't.

Batman has a batcave, Green Arrow has a warehouse. Yeah, Im going to enjoy this series this fall.

Watching that clip, i couldn't help but think if that were a women showing off her hot body in a training sequene like that, the internet would be full of people calling the show sexist.

Okay I'll admit, the chin-up thing was pretty freakin cool.

So when they tried to spin off Green Arrow from Smallville - The response was ' no one wants to see that!" But now after Avengers and hunger games, "Oh, Archers are really IN right now!" This looks terrible. Yes, he's ripped for the ladies and the scene with him shooting at the VERY end was interesting. The entire production value, terrible sets, cheesy/poorly acted voice acting - No ...no thanks.

why dose green arrow get a show he had one it was smallville season 6 7 8 9 and a little of 10. i rather a kara show with laura vandervoort sinse smallville treated kara like she meant jack shit to clark wich was not cool prophecy was stupid. idk why green arrow gets a show.

And why not keep the same actor from Smallvile?? I find it funny how Comic Book movies are so hard to remake and whatnot because producers feel like the average movie goer is an idiot but here they go getting a different actor for a role played by Justin Hartley for like 6 years on a popular tv show??!! Makes no sense.....

Could go either way. The show will either be good or it'll flop, I don't get paid either way. People think Smallville would last as long as it did and it became my only reason for watching the CW so maybe "Arrow" is worth giving it chance.

I have been waiting for a clip for this show for so long...and i have to say..it looks good..

Flash had his own show...Green Arrow deserves one

Yeah, but Flash's live-action show wasn't very good and was too cheesy, he deserves a much better, ANIMATED show. I personally don't think GA should have a show seeing as he was the star on Smallville for like 4 seasons, but I'm not a fan of Ollie so I wouldn't know. Hopefully this turns out good at least (although I doubt it IMO) and DC really needs to have a good new show PERIOD since their only decent show nowadays is Young Justice...

I'm not counting my chickens here but I will stay optimistic and give it a shot when it premieres. Just saw the first image of the costume today and it looks like it was pulled straight out of Mike Grell's run.

I'm curious, but honestly I've never really cared for Green Arrow. It's hard to buy into the whole 'Robin Hood' thing in a world where people have guns and grenades.

Still, I firmly believe that any story (if told right) can be a good one, so I'm hoping this one surprises me.

I don't know why they just didn't call it "Green Arrow", like Arrow is so different. Maybe the stigma from the Green Lantern movie? Also, Arrows are very in this year: Hunger Games, Avengers, Brave and now this. Biggest thing for Christmas!
