This is problably a throwback to their old series.

Second issue of the Green Arrow series and Brightest Day tie-in.

    The Story :

We start this issue with some guy that looks like a ranger getting to drink from a small creak in the forest. We see Hal landed in front of Ollie and the big tree with the White Lantern symbole and we see the two giving exposition about the effects the White Lantern has done.We then go to the Queen writing in her diary that she is determined to get rid of Ollie. We then see were Ollie has been living, wich is basically a cave witha bunch stuff needed for living and we get a joke from Hal saying that he shouldn't call this place the Arrowcave because that name was stupid and it seems that Queen Industries own little army have invaded the forest to capture or kill Ollie. What we get the rest of this issue is one big fight .Then at the end of this issue Ollie gets shot in this head with a black arrow.

    The Good :

The abnter between Ollie and Hal is pretty funny. The big fight flows very naturally and the art is still excellent. Also im wondering who the guy we saw at the beginning is but he probably will be one of Ollie's Merry Men.

    The Bad :

The big fight basically takes up the whole issue so we don't get much else in terms of story.

The Verdict :This issue is a bit of a let down compared to the previous issue but is still entertaining and the next issue will probably ask more questions and might answer a few. This is still a solid buy for any long time Arrow fan or new comer to the character.

F*ck the critics! I say Green Arrow is a good comic 0

I'm tired of the negative reviews Green Arrow is recieving. Yeah we all know he's a copy of Robin Hood, but give it a rest already, for me this series is better than Green Arrow and Black Canary series. And I love Ollie's sense of Humor. Now for the review.   After the ending of the first issue we found Hal Jordan looking for Oliver Quinn and losing his power source because of a White Lantern engraved tree. Well first of all I like the art of the covers in both issues (#1 and #2). The artwork in...

      Review: Green Arrow #2 0

Green Arrow and Hal Jordan team up to defend the Star City woods from the new security team at Queen Industries. Featuring a shocking conclusion!  The Good It's a quick, fun book. Krul's writing breezes you through this entertaining issue as we learn a little more about the forest in Star City and that White Lantern tree we saw in issue one. Lots of great action, and lots of Ollie proving why this place is "his forest." For me, the most enjoyable part of this book is Krul's take on Green Ar...
