    Review: Green Arrow #2 0

Green Arrow and Hal Jordan team up to defend the Star City woods from the new security team at Queen Industries. Featuring a shocking conclusion!  The Good It's a quick, fun book. Krul's writing breezes you through this entertaining issue as we learn a little more about the forest in Star City and that White Lantern tree we saw in issue one. Lots of great action, and lots of Ollie proving why this place is "his forest." For me, the most enjoyable part of this book is Krul's take on Green Ar...

F*ck the critics! I say Green Arrow is a good comic 4

I'm tired of the negative reviews Green Arrow is recieving. Yeah we all know he's a copy of Robin Hood, but give it a rest already, for me this series is better than Green Arrow and Black Canary series. And I love Ollie's sense of Humor. Now for the review.   After the ending of the first issue we found Hal Jordan looking for Oliver Quinn and losing his power source because of a White Lantern engraved tree. Well first of all I like the art of the covers in both issues (#1 and #2). The artwork in...

Ollie and Hal team up like the old days 0

Pros:  I like the interaction with Hal and Oliver. Despite everything that has happen with Oliver, Hal still sees him a friend and ally. They share some good humor in this issue as well. The scenario with Hal not able to use his ring was interesting as its very rare to see him without powers. This means he's a normal human like Oliver minus a bow, but that doesn't mean he can't take care of himself. And while Oliver shows Hal around his new home, they're attacked by Queen industries' new polic...

Not out of the woods yet... but getting there 0

This issue starts exactly where the last one ended. With Hal Jordan and Ollie Queen (Green Lantern and Green Arrow) reuniting as friends and investigating the Star City Forest. (Star Forest?). Its a story primarily about friendship and begins to paint a picture of Green Arrow and his relationship with the forest around him.  The Good: This is another great issue from J.T.Krul with some great dialog and a coherent and informative story. That said this issue didn't progress much past where we were...

Will power lost in the woods. 0

Story: Green Lantern is stuck in the woods. His ring malfunctioned because the forrest is a dead zone. It's just like old times with Hal and Ollie. Hal came over to scout the area and check on Ollie. Rochev is writing in her journal saying that in order to take over Queen Industries she must get rid of Oliver. Ollie takes Hal to the home he has made in the forrest and Hal tells him it is not good to keep himself so isolated. Ollie explains that this is his home. Hal and Ollie are invaded by Quee...

This is problably a throwback to their old series. 0

Second issue of the Green Arrow series and Brightest Day tie-in.   The Story :We start this issue with some guy that looks like a ranger getting to drink from a small creak in the forest. We see Hal landed in front of Ollie and the big tree with the White Lantern symbole and we see the two giving exposition about the effects the White Lantern has done.We then go to the Queen writing in her diary that she is determined to get rid of Ollie. We then see were Ollie has been living, wich is basically a ...

    The Good Old Days 0

When I turned to the last page of #1, I suffered a massive nerdgasm and was in hospital for several days. The reuniting of Green Lantern and Green Arrow to kick some ass was too much for my little brain to take. In my humble opinion, GA and GL are one of the greatest comic book duos of all time (others including Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, Cable and Deadpool, Superman and Batman, etc.)   There's a lot of mystery in this forest as somehow, it disables technology, including Hal's ring! So he and...

    The Green Issue 0

So this "green issue" - including Green Arrow, Green Lantern, and a forest, was a great story to read.  So first of all, what I liked the most was the drawing; the penciling and the coloring. It was just great, nothing bad to say about it at all.   Now the story itself - It's only the beggining but it started very well . The problem Star City is at, and this hero - Green Arrow, though it's much like Robin Hood - is just great. You can see there's a plot starting here. Though it's not so clear wh...
