    Green Arrow's Getting Back 0

I guess I was one of the few people who liked the last issue. However, does this issue do it's job at gaining back readers it may have turned away?  THE GOOD: I don't mind the art. I think it could be better but I'm not going to complain. Let me just start off, if you didn't like the 1st issue, your probably not going to enjoy this issue, however, it has improved. The story starts off in action against attention grabbing super powered females. I like seeing Oliver struggling with the company and...

    Going mundane 0

Second issue and we get more of the same of the last issue and that is more of pretty much nothing. The plot develops a little, but as it is and where I think this is going. This all could be fit into a well paced single issue... which means the book is pretty much filler and clutter. So far this title has been nothing, but the exact opposite of what I expect from Green Arrow and likely the complete reversal for anyone that used to read his books. There is no philosophical, ethical, political, or...

    Still Nothing Special 0

The Story:Rush calls out Green Arrow via the internet when he and his group kill a young kid who tried joining their group. My Thoughts:I wasn't thrilled with the first issue of this series so I was going into this second issue with low expectations. Once again I wasn't pleased with the outcome. This series so far has been average at best. J.T. Krul is simply doing nothing to impress me in any way.One thing I didn't like that I found unrealistic was how Green Arrow shot an arrow down from the Spa...

Are we still going with the Apple analogue with Steve Jobs dying? 3

Review for Green Arrow #2.   The Story: The douche villains kill some poor kid, post it on the internet so Ollie goes and stops them.  The Good: As I said in the previous issue I really like the idea of these glory hound villains using the internet to become infamous but it has drawbacks. Still liking Jurgen's art, it works well in action sequences.  The Bad: The main problem with the series is that we have no idea who Ollie, we have no idea how we acquired Q-Core who runs it and such. As much a...

Krul Was Amazing. Now He's Just Making Me Soapbox With Rage 0

The Good: I gotta say, watching a superhero beat the shit out of the supervillain equivalent of 'Jersey Shore' and every other terrible reality show? Still extremely satisfying. Krul actually did a great job at writing these characters as EXACTLY the type of 'Reality Show' douchebags who are cluttering TV. I'm impressed with how deep the story went with that metaphor. It also doesn't feel too much like Kick-Ass, which is good because points for being more unique. The Bad: Again, Dan Jurgens just...

    Interesting, I guess 0

Issue 2 of Green Arrow tells a strange tale, interestingly done. It's a fun jab at reality television and nothing more. Even at top speed this issue barely captures your attention. The story is all there, filling the issue, but even at that it isn't all that entertaining. Like issue 1, borrow it and see for yourself before you go buying....

    Here it starts 0

Like they had no idea for a new one.*The art could have been better*Ollie is just too perfect somtimesGenerally I think a good story is about to come. I'll keep re...
