MULTIVERSITY FINALLY.

Grant Morrison is a guy whose work seems to hit all of my pet peeves and I usually find his writing to be overly obtuse, but every once in awhile he will create something I love. This sounds like a really novel idea, I might give the first issue a try if its a character that looks interesting and then decide from there whether to continue.

I think the idea is cool, but I don't know if it will play out well.

Also I hate Obama Superman.

This comic has become something like Detox...wasn't sure if it was ever gonna come out, but I'm excited it is, will be eagerly awaiting its release.

Him and Hickman both confuse the Sh*t out of me with every book I read from them.

I saw some of Cameron Stewart's Captain Marvel art for this series. It looks fantastic. I'm excited for Multiversity, but as I've said before this sounds like something to wait and read once it's all collected.

I love the idea of the comic books telling the worlds' stories. I remember when they did that with the Justice League animated TV show, does anyone else? I also love how Morrison writes and I'm so excited! I can't wait to try to interpret his super-complex writing, which I love!

I'm so incredibly excited about this book. The Map of the Multiverse really got me pumped!

@jasoninthewoods: I think the trolling aspect is the manner in which he stated his opinion. It seemed overly confrontational imo. Also, I really don't like when people say so and so is "overrated." That term is based upon opinion of an individual but implies a universal truth. You don't like Morrison? Great but don't call him overrated. That is just a small pet peeve of mine.

I expect a lot of confusion alongside great storytelling. Great interview btw

Of course there are bad opinions too...

For example, when someone says William Faulkner is a bad writer, or Stanley Kubrick is a bad film director...you can't take him seriously...it just means that he has bad taste...

Morrison is objectively a comic book writing god, and anyone who thinks he's overrated or terrible has an extremely low IQ, terrible taste, or a combination of both. :3

I never said I fully disliked Morrison...he has his moments...for one thing he's good at creating great characters.

Hmm. Well then I suppose my comment wasn't entirely meant for you. It was just a little joke at the expense of the haters. People who can acknowledge his positive aspects do not fall under that category. It's alright if he just isn't your cup o' tea. I was mainly calling out the ones who said he sucks.

Great interview. I had heard about this series before but I didn't really know what it was about. Now I'm definitely adding it to my pull-list.

I'm definitely getting Multiversity, it's one of the few things that still interests me in the New 52.

Could do without Obama likeness Superman design but outside of that, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I want to see a literally mixed background team though, I know this one has aliens and minorities, gay guy etc.

I hope we see a JL that is one white guy, latino guy, asian guy, black guy and perhaps an alien chick. I don't care which role they are just want to see a Superman, GL, Flash, Batman, WW etc.
