With Grange Hill proving one of the BBC's most popular children's shows, various companies vied for the licensing rights to produce tie-in annuals. Grandreams produced the first one, the 1981 Annual (published 1980), but the 1982 through 1987 Annuals were published by Fleetway, before they lost the license to World Distributors, who would produce the final Grange Hill Annual, the 1988 one.
