Origin

Before the war between Earth and Thanagar started, Fel Andar was sent as an spy for Thanagor to the planet Earth in order to gather information about the earth before the invasion started.

The first thing that Fel Andar did when he arrived at earth was to start to live like a normal human. This was a plan to take the disguise of the son of Carter Hall and Shiera Hall (Hawkman and Hawkgirl). Fel Andar decided that he would also need one woman to pretend that she was hawkwoman, she soon found a woman with who she would later fall in love named Sharon Parker.

Some time later, Fel Andar and Sharon Parker would marry and some time later give a birth to a son. The little baby would be named Ch'al Andar.

However giving birth to a baby would make his mission fail, with no other option Fel Andar gave his young son in adoption under the earth name of Charley Parker.

Most of Charley's life was in foster homes, during all his youth he would feel deep issues of Abandonment which made him more agresive, however one day he would meet his biologic father. It was that day that Fel Andar decided to give his grown up son an battle armor of thanagar origin. Charlie accepted it, without knowing his origin, neither how he would use it.

Golden Eagle

Without any knowledge that he was half thanagar and half human, Charley Parker decided to use the thanagar battle armor and become the superhero known as Golden Eagle. One day he appeared out of nowhere over Norhtern California, it was there that he rescued a family that was trapped in a burning forest.

Because of his heroic action, Golden Eagle was given a lot of gratitude, after this he decided to ask people for money in exchange for his hero services. He also decided to give the people there a car saying:

Golden Eagle - Loved Ones Need Saving? I Fly in the Face of Danger. All Major Credit Cards Accepted.

After that Golden Eagle left the town flying, the people that lived in the town didn't like his attitude and decided to break his cards, this was indeed one of the worst ways to start a superhero carrer.

Charlie Parker (Golden Eagle) had always been someone who hadn't had luck in finding and keeping a job. Charlie hoped that to be the superhero known as Golden Eagle would give him enough money to don't need a real job, however no one was willing to pay Charlie for his services as Golden Eagle having so many superheroes that did the job for free.

Some time later Charley Parker (Golden Eagle) would meet Hawkman who would later become the mentor and partner of Golden Eagle. A strange thing to note is that Hawkman didn't become Golden Eagle's mentor because of his Thanagarian origin since none of them knew anything about it.

Teen Titans West

Some time later an attack done by Mr. Esper to California was made, Golden Eagle was along the group of heroes that stopped the Esper's plan. It was after this that the team known as Teen Titans West was created even tough Robin (Dick Grayson) didn't want it.

The main reason that Golden Eagle joined the team was because he thought that it would give him a great ammount of money, however much to his bad luck teen titan west disbanded just a little after it was formed. Some time later teen titans west would be reformed for a very short time, Golden Eagle was once again a member seeking money for his heroic actions. The team would disband once again soon after that.

Fel Andar as Hawkman

Some time later, both Hawkman and Hawkwoman misteriously dissapeared into the limbo, Charlie Parker's dad, Fel Andar became along with his wife the new Hawkman and Hawkwoman. Dressed as Hawkman he pretended that he was Carter's son which let him become one member along with his wife of the Justice League of America. The real intentions to become a member of the Justice League of America is that it would help his work of a spy. Using his posision as member of the Justice League of America he could have total access to the earth tecnology and make invasions plans with the Dominators, Khunds and Thanagarians in an attempt to destroy earth. One day Sharon overheard her husband invasion plans, fearing that she would tell the rest of the justice league of America, Fel Andar decided to kill his wife. However much to Fel Andar's bad luck, Sharon was able to reveal to the justice league that Fel Andar had betrayed the Earth and that he was planning an invasion. Fel Andar would later escape the earth and go to Thanagar. However he had a trial and was found as a traitor.

Death

Months later members of the teen titans (past and present) would be hunted and captured by the Wildebeest Society. Golden Eagle along with Aqualad (Tempest) went to Titans Tower to join Deathstroke's team that was supposed to find and rescue the rest of the titans. However as soon as they arrived on the island they were attacked by the Wildebeests. The Wildebeest would beat their tag-team. Altough the wildebeest took Aqualad (Tempest) they beated to death Golden Eagle, seemingly killing him.

Return

It was later revealed that Fel Andar had been at titans tower when Golden Eagle and Aqualad (Tempest) had been attacked by the wildebeests, and he had saved his son moments before he died. He also revealed to his son his true thanagar origin and that Fel Andar had come to earth to become a spy for Thanagar.

It was after Golden Eagle learned about this that a hate for Hawkman was born, one of the reasons he hated him was because he considered his father to be the one true Hawkman and the other one was that he thought that Hawkman was only a thanagarian pretender. One week later the authorities of Thanagar would come to earth and bring Fel Andar back to Thanagar where he would be a prisioner once again.

Vengeance quest

After Charley Parker's (Golden Eagle) dad was taken to Thanagar and became a prisioner once again, his hate to Hawkman grew stronger. It was after this that Golden Eagle started a vengeance quest against his former mentor. This was also in Golden Eagle's eyes a way to become for the first time his own man.

For the next few years, Charley Parker traveled around the world, he would even fund his own aerospace enterprise that would be later be known as "Ethon Enterprises". However no one was aware of Charlie Parker being alive since he decided to remain as a ghost to the rest of the world in for a few years. However one day in St. Roch he would reveal to the world that he was indeed alive when he appeared using the costume of Golden Eagle once again.

It was later revealed that Charley Parker had been influating all of Hawkman's villains to work together to fight and kill him. It was also revealed that it had been Charley Parker who attempted to brainwash Hawkman in an attempt for him to kill Hawkgirl.

It was after this that Hawkman decided to fake his own death to learn who was attempting to destroy him by manipulating him and his enemies. During this time Charlie took the mantle and costume of Hawkman pretending that he was Hawkman's son. This plan would be later stopped before he went back to Thanagar with Hawkgirl. Golden Eagle and Hawkman battled because of this and all the other things that Charlie had done to him.

Powers & Abilities

Charley Parker is a superb athlete and a fairly good hand-to-hand fighter, despite his limited combat training the sharp metal talons on his gloves provide Golden Eagle with a formidable assault weapon. In addition to the power of flight, The Golden Eagle has incredible vision, which allows him to see objects from great distances, even in near-total darkness. Whether these powers are attributable to Charley Parker or the Golden Eagle costume itself has yet to be revealed.
