    Golddigger

Character » Golddigger appears in 16 issues.

Golddigger was the alias used by two different Marvel characters, both as supervillains.

    Is she still alive?

She was last seen trying to escape with Damon Dran in Captain America#430 (1994). She was scaling the ladder and was only like a few feet above the ground when the chopper got shot down by Americop and considering Golddigger's athletic prowess, it's very likely she survived. I know a lot of male fans would like to see her again (she's hot!!!!). It's also quite possible that she didn't appear again because (the great) Mark Gruenwald (the writer credited for creating her and whose work are the only issues where Golddigger has ever appeared in), passed away a couple years later (1996). If she ever appears again, it would be great to have the great Dave Hoover draw her again and it would also be nice to dedicate the issue to the memory of Mr. Gruenwald.

@hotcoffy: But if she DOES return, will it be as a villain or as a hero?

She'll always be hot as a villainess but it'll also be interesting if she'll be a "hero" as part of the Thunderbolts.
