Hey any series which has Bardock going Super Saiyan is cannon in my eyes.

It was a spin-off (IIRC), so probably.

Few years ago it wasn't, I don't know if something is changed.
It is against Animevice rules to post these links.
 
So if it is cannon, that means we finally have on panel proof that Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta in his base form.
