    The first son of Goku and Chichi and a half-Human, half-Saiyan, Son Gohan held the potential for enormous power. Growing up a scholar, not a warrior like his father, he nevertheless has answered the call to protect Earth multiple times. He is the most powerful non fused warrior in the Dragon Ball Z universe by the end of Dragon Ball Z series. He is the father of Pan and husband to Videl. He is Goten's older brother and Grandson to both Ox King and Bardock, respectively. (Goku and Chichi's fathers)

    Shouldnt Gohan be able to Transform past SSJ2?

    I know it's said that he cant go beyond SSJ2 because he is only half Saiyan but Trunks and Goten can transform into SSJ3 when they fuse and they are still only half human. I would think either with Gohans Mystic form unlocked he could use that power to become SSJ3 or continue working and training and be able to become a Mystic Super Saiyan or something

    Goku actually told Gohan he would show him how to transform to SSJ3 before he got his mystic form
