A 2002 entry in the Godzilla series, reintroducing Mechagodzilla. The bones of the 1954 Godzilla are used to create a cyborg intended to defend Japan from the modern version of the monster. However when the Mechagodzilla goes berserk, its creators find him more difficult to handle that his biological counterpart.
