When Alan Moore joined Image Comics, he would also join Rob Liefeld's Awesome comics. Alan Moore as suppose to redesign the traditional Glory and revamp her like what he did with Supreme. Glory would take a waitress in her mundane life and give her a life of magic and adventure.
The Controversy with this series is that only one issue (Zero) of Glory was released under Awesome. Later this series would be moved to Avatar ( Alan Moore's Glory) before ending again at issue #2, which would leave a total of three issues (One micro arc). Glory would also be the prototype of Alan Moore's Promethea with some of the concepts of magick are later hammered out smoother. Both Glory and Promethea share in common of being the Avatar of the stories Alan Moore would of told in DC Comics Wonder Woman if permitted.
