Finally Cobra Commander looks like Cobra Commander

Will the Rock and Bruce Willis bring credibility to the movie, or make it a (bigger) joke?

So far from what I know, Cobra Commander's appearance has been unconfirmed for the movie. But that little spot at 0:06 has me thinking otherwise now...still no Destro though. Sad.

Now that I've seen Firefly with his mask on, 0.06 (behind Cobra Commander), I am really looking forward to this movie. Hopefully when Zartan reappears in the film (not as the president), he will look like he did in the comics. If he does then this movie should be good, but I still don't see it being as good as the comics are.

Actually the original trailer featured Cobra Commander briefly. As for Destro, Christopher Eccleston has stated that he "never bathes in the same river twice" so he never reprises a role but I suppose they could have found someone else to play the character (though who could replace Eccleston I have no idea). Cobra Commander appears in the original trailer at about 47 seconds in.

Yeah, I must go see this. If for nothing else, I have to see it because I am a big fan of Bruce Willis'.

And this movie doesn't look half bad. Sure, it has a shocking lack of red lasers and blue lasers, but I am willing to look past that for awesome action and general badassery. And when the Rock is involved, there's usually a lot of badassery. And when Bruce Willis is involved... yeah, the badassery-meter goes way up high.

The Rock has Road block is awesome! Great casting, The Rock is really making his way into action movies, i wasnt a fan of doom, or the run down, but Fast 5 Awesome!

I had to look up Bruce willis. Maybe the Next movie we will get Flint, and Gun ho.

I think this legitimately looks like a fun movie and a chance for redemption after the "eh worthy" GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra. Channing's performance certainly didn't help, either.

This teaser kinda sucked imo, especially compared to the over awesome ridiculousness of the original trailer.

For those of us NOT bashing this movie I think we can all agree that 0:06 with Firefly and Cobra Commander is the best shot in this teaser, followed by 0:28 with Roadblock picking up his signature 50 calibre. Overall this is looking really good.

@Mister_Sensational: For me it's Snake Eye's shooting the shurikens tossed by SS.

Although I gotta say I really wish Scarlett was in this movie, even if they had recast the role I would've at least liked to have the character in this movie, to me she's just one of those essential characters in G.I. Joe like Snake Eyes or Duke.

It's funny, last year around this time when I first saw the Superbowl ad for Transformers 3 I said to myself "Who would've ever thought we'd get three Transformers movies before we got one "decent" G.I. Joe!" Don't get me wrong I liked Rise of Cobra for what it was, a good popcorn action flick, but compared to Transformers 1 and 2 it failed. I hope beyond hope this movie changes all that because honestly I always was more of a G.I. Joe kid than a Transformers one growing up.

what killed me on Rise of Cobra, was really tatum channing (think thats his name) I just can't see that guy in a warzone after that dancing movie, that and hes a pretty vapid actor. Still, with these guys surrounding him I dont doubt itll be great I know it will. Is it just me or is the rock becoming the next Mark walhberg> Put him in a movie (err, where he doesnt have wings) and itll be box office gold.
