These comics were stand-alone stories featured in the two and three figure packs. They were published by Hasbro and were written by original Joe scribe, Larry Hama.

A part of Hasbro 25th Anniversary 2 figure comic packs. Several issues were label 1/2 issues because they took place directly between some of the Marvel G.I. Joe A Real American Hero issues that Larry Hama wrote in the 1980's. Other issues reference time or places that connect them to the Real American Hero continuity. Issues 21 ½, 32 ½ & 36 ½, although not labeled #1,#2, or #3, they are considered the first 3 issues of this series of comics. (Issues #8 is considered to be part of the G.I. Joe: Resolute animated universe)
