Johnny Blaze is Ghost Rider, former motorcycle stunt driver who now fights injustice as an undead vigilante with the powers cursed upon him by an Angel known as Zadkiel in the most recent Origin.
JOHNNY BLAZE
Origin
Johnny Blaze was the son of a motorcycle stunt rider named Barton Blaze, working for a man by the name of Crash Simpson, Barton Blaze and his son Johnny became accustomed to the life of a carnival. It wasn't until he witnessed the death of his father Barton Blaze that Johnny had lost his whole family. Not long after the stunt accident that killed his father, Johnny Blaze was adopted by Crash Simpson, his wife Mona and his daughter Roxanne Simpson Blaze.
Johnny and Roxanne became very attached to one another, one day while Johnny and Roxanne were practicing a motorcycle stunt, the motorcycle caught on fire and was about to explode. Roxanne jumped off the motorcycle but Johnny continued to ride it so that it would not hurt the circus tent they were practicing in. Mona had run over to see if Johnny was alright, but as she approached Johnny the motorcycle exploded putting Mona into the hospital. At the side of Mona Simpson's hospital bed, she had one request for Johnny Blaze, and that was to never ride in the motorcycle shows. After her last words she passed away.
Keeping his promise to Mona, Johnny never rode in a motorcycle show, however he continued to practice and get better at riding despite the promise he made. He kept his riding a secret. One day as he was practicing, Roxanne had stumbled into the tent he was in and discovered that Johnny knew how to ride. While practicing continuously, the Crash Simpson stunt show continued and prospered. Not long after the Crash Simpson Stunt Show had gained in popularity, Crash Simpson discovered that he had cancer and was going to die soon. Johnny, not being able to bear the loss of another father decided that he needed to save his Crash's life one way or another.
Making a pact with the devil who later became to be revealed as the arch-demon Mephisto, Johnny Blaze sold his soul to spare Crash Simpson from the disease that was killing him. The Devil agreed to make the pact on one condition, the condition was the one day he would return to collect his fee for curing Crash of the disease. Lives continued on and know one knew of the pact Johnny had made. Crash Simpson not caring for his life anymore and not knowing of the cure that had ridden the disease from his body, decided to make a giant stunt and jump over twenty-two cars, however when he attempted this, Crash collided into the ground and died.
After Johnny Blaze saw Crash die, his world had crumbled down, he did not think that life could get any worse. Just as he thought that the Devil appeared. Johnny began yelling at the Devil and telling him that he double crossed him, the Devil stated that he had cured Crash Simpson’s disease and that he wanted to claim his reward. With that statement heard he declared that Johnny Blaze would become his Emissary in the dark hours and in the light he would join him in Hades. The pact was made, by day Johnny Blaze would walk among the living, but by night he became the Ghost Rider. During the day Johnny Blaze performed in his traveling stunt show along with Roxanne Simpson after the death of Crash.
The Original Ghost Rider
During this time Johnny would perform his stunts as the Ghost Rider with the audience all believing it to be some great special effects. However they were not effects they were the curse of the Mephisto, and his evil demons were constantly sent to ambush the Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze and his loved ones. Coming to the decision that he had put Roxanne through too much torment and suffering Johnny left to allow Roxanne to live a normal life.
During this time Johnny Blaze became the stunt man for his friend The Stunt Master on his TV show in Los Angeles. At this time he discovered that he could not only turn into Ghost Rider at night but whenever there was evil around. Whilst in Los Angeles Ghost Rider also joined forces with The Champions of Los Angeles to battle the evil forces in the city. However after a few months of fighting alongside The Champions he discovered he was much too much of a loner to battle with them, so he left The Champions forever.
Ghost Rider In Battle
Soon after, the demonic half of Ghost Rider was exerting more and more control over his actions and personality and Johnny found dealing with his normal life harder and harder. He later joined the Quentin Carnival to perform his motorcycle stunts with fellow rider Red Fowler. Whilst traveling with the carnival Ghost Rider battled Centurious who managed to stir the memories that Johnny had wanted to forget. It was later revealed by the demon Nightmare that the demon who'd bonded with the soul of Johnny Blaze was called Zarathos.
Johnny and Zarathos battled for dominance within Johnny and eventually Roxanne Simpson returned to request the help of the Ghost Rider to battle Centurious once again. In doing this Johnny was able to imprison Centurious and Zarathos within the Crystal of Souls and no longer would Johnny Blaze becomes the Ghost Rider, he was free at last of the Mephisto's curse. He eventually married Roxanne and together they had children, Craig and Emma.

Powers and abilities
When Blaze transforms into the Ghost Rider along with having his supernatural motorcycle fueled with hellfire he is granted many powers including, superhuman strength and durability and the power to create and control hellfire. Ghost Rider can also perform the Penance Stare (although this is not until Daniel has already been able to use it) and travel between dimensions and across any surface.
DANIEL KETCH
Origin
Enter Daniel Ketch
Daniel Ketch was attacked by gangsters whilst with his sister, Barbara. He ran away, finding a motorcycle. Upon touching it, he was transformed in to Ghost Rider. Although Daniel then beat the gangsters, they beat Barbara in to a coma. Blackout, one of the leaders of the gangsters eventually killed Barbara in the hospital because of what Daniel had done to them. Daniel scarred Blackout's face with hellfire as an act of revenge.
Danny was killed twice. First, when he was with the Midnight Sons, he was killed by Blade who was possessed by the The Darkhold, but was later resurrected by the Darkhold Redeemers, along with others that was killed by Blade. and Lastly, when he fought Zarathos, but was again revived.
It was later revealed that Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze are brothers and are inheritors of the curse of the Spirit of Vengeance. Eventually, Danny seemed to die, but the Spirit of Vengeance within him lives on. But in another issue, Danny is shown to be alive and is bonded with the Noble Kale Ghost Rider.
His last adventure would draw him into Hell and confront its ruler, Blackheart to make a deal. Danny would marry two demonesses of Blackheart's choosing and Blackheart will break the curse in Danny's family bloodline. When one of the succubus tried to kill Danny with a bone knife made from Zarathos, but failed. Blackheart appeared and explain to Danny that he planned this all along to rid himself of the Noble Kale bloodline and also destroy his soul. Danny would later fight and kill Blackheart and he would eventually become the King of Hell.

The Penance Stare
Much like Johnny’s, although when Daniel transforms into the Ghost Rider his motorcycle transforms into a high-tech motorcycle complete with a battering ram. Daniel was the first Ghost Rider to use the Penance Stare. The penance stare inflicted the pain that the victim had made other people feel on to himself. Hence, "Your soul is stained with the blood of innocent, feel their pain, look into my eyes." At first, he was disadvantaged because he was only able to turn in to the Ghost Rider when "innocent blood was spilled." He'd also have to touch his motorcycle to do so. Daniel also wields a mystical chain in which he uses as his primary weapon along with his demonic strength and control of hellfire.

Ghost Rider Escapes Hell
After living some time without becoming the Ghost Rider once again as Zarthos's Soul had never truly left his body. However even though he once again gained his hell spawn powers Johnny was eventually captured by demons and taken to hell.
After years of suffering in the pits of hell by the hands of various evil demons Ghost Rider is given a chance to escape from hell, but there is a catch, Ghost Rider must save the earth from the demon Kazzan. However even though Ghost Rider saves the world he returned to hell to continue his torment.
Eventually Blaze escapes from Hell permanently and retains the mantle of Ghost Rider and protecting the innocent from evil with a hoard or new powers. Johnny tries escaping Hell countless times but failing miserably. On one of his escape attempts, he meets a demon who worked in the pit and had found a way out but was blind and needed Johnny's help.
Johnny told the demon they had a deal, but he was actually lying, reasoning that the demon was evil and deserved to be in Hell. Lucifer found this out as well and tricked Johnny so that he would help him get to Earth. Johnny survived the trip, but Lucifer was split into multiple pieces.
Upon returning to Earth, Blaze encounters Doctor Strange. Thinking that Strange is Lucifer in disguise, Blaze attacks him. The two battle which leads to Blaze using the Penance Stare and Strange and incapacitate him. After incapacitating Strange, Johnny meets Numecet and learns that Strange wasn't Lucifer and that Lucifer had been split apart into 666 pieces. These pieces would inhabit a body whose spirit had just left.
Numecet also explained how that after killing one of the pieces, the others get stronger and that the last one would be unstoppable. Johnny did not heed to Numecet's warnings and went to kill all the pieces.
Johnny went to Illinois, to investigate a killing spree of decapitated children. It turns out that the murderer is Jack O'Lantern, who was killed by Punisher before, but now in a possession of one of the aspects of Lucifer. The local sheriff thought that Ghost Rider is responsible for the killings but later realized that it was the demon-possessed supervillain. The two individuals fought Jack O'Lantern and Ghost Rider was able to ripped out the essence of Lucifer out of his heart and quickly smashed his pumpkin head to make sure he will be dead.
Ghost Rider is eventually brought to New York City to defend The Illuminati from World War Hulk, and Hulk's murderous rampage, however he fails as Ghost Rider protects the innocent, something which the Illuminati are not.

Marvel 2099 (Earth-928)
Kenshiro "Zero" Cochrane is hacker that is killed after stealing information from the D/Monix corporation. He downloaded his mind to cyberspace and encountered an artificial intelligence named Ghostworks. It ask zero to be their avatar in the real world, and he accepted. He was down loaded to a robotic body called Cybertek 101. Due to the similarities to the 20th century superhero, he robotic body was known as the Ghost Rider.

This Ghost Rider is the Daniel Ketch version.
The Road to Damnation
Johnny blaze is found in trapped in a cycle of terror and searches for a way to escape.During this a angel Malachi approaches the Ghost Rider telling him that he willfree him from hell with his soul.Mslchi also says that when he allows him to be free from hell but that he would also help him hunt down the demon Kazaan who he unleashed to attack the earth.Malachi informs Johnny that the only way he would be fee from hell and safe is if he can beat Ruth a demon with strong power,and in order to stop the destruction from earth is that he beats him and Ruth,but then kazaan finds out that ghost rider is struggling to defeat him and decides to help him.After Blaze and Ruth fight with ruth they find out that hoss has stolen Blaze's bike,which Blaze later finds and then recites an incantation sending Kazaan back to Hell.
