Ghost Rider: Trail of Tears # 4 - Part Four

This might be the weakest issue in the mini series so far, but it's still pretty good. I think the reason I thought this issue was weaker is because the role of Travis Parham seemed to be of very little importance in the grand scheme of things. The story here is more about horror and less about character this time around, and it was bound to happen. But again... it's still good. Parham is still present, but we see very little of him this time around. Most of the story is seen through the eyes of Reagan and his men as they are terrorized by this era's Ghost Rider.

Clayton Crain's artwork alone is almost worth the cover price of the issue. He sets the mood perfectly, and there is no mistake about when this story is taking place. Everything from the horror to character's expressions is beautifully done. I couldn't imagine anyone else illustrating this story.

Even though everything in the previous issues were leading up to this, it still feels a like it fell short of the quality already established before. Still a good read, just not "great".
