Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman, became bound to the Spirit of Vengeance known as Zarathos after making a deal with Mephisto to spare the life of his surrogate father. With the power to control hellfire and to inflict pain on those he deems evil with his Penance Stare, Johnny seeks vengeance as Ghost Rider.
Ok... i jus wanna kno... How many Ghost Riders are there i thought there were only 2... but now im hearing theres like 4 of em... and someone else said theres 6... so are they lying or what... are there
Ghost Rider can be confusing because of all the different elements involved. Of course you have Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch who are both Ghost Riders. You have the two beings responsible for them being Ghost Rider, Zarathos and Noble Kale, respectively. Then, there's also Vengeance, who has been two different people. Somehow or another (due to the Ghost Rider movie mostly), those who bear the name, Phantom Rider, are tied into all of this, especially now with the appearance of Hellfire in the pages of Secret Warriors. It's all rather overwhelming when you look at the whole of the Ghost Rider mythos, but basically Johnny and Dan are currently the bearers of the name.

Danny next tracks Molek [the Thailand Ghost Rider], Bai Gu Jing [the Chinese Ghost Rider], Sara [the New Caretaker] and his elder brother Johnny Blaze to the City of the Skulls in Africa where they meet the other last remaining Ghost Rider's, Jambo and his wife who are also Ghost Riders. Danny leads his army of Dark Angels into battle against the other Ghost Rider's and the army of Skull City [humans] and to everyone's surprise except Danny's, Johnny has overcome his depression and is ready to fight. During the fight Danny clones himself with avatars to steal the powers of the Spirits of Vengeance quicker. He then challenges Blaze to a race around the world. Who ever wins claims the fate of man kind. The Race is interupted by former Ghost Rider victim Kowalski who shoots Blaze. But Ketch shoots fire at Kowalski and then steals the power of Johnny Blaze. Then Danny flies up to Heaven with all of the powers of the Spirits of Vengeance, and realizes he has been tricked by Zadkiel who used the all of the Ghost Rider power to open the gates of Heaven. Danny is then thrown out of heaven back to earth.
also the Guardians Of The Galaxy one and 2099 ones. 2099 1.0, 2099 2.0 , and 2099-2099 (ie: Timestorm) respectfully among other weird alternate reality versions.
Maybe people saw some Kamen Rider pics and mistaking them ( Skullman, Skull Rider and Kamen Rider Skull) for Ghost Riders (though that probably person had to be mentally retarded to mistake these Japanese heroes for Ghost Riders since they look nothing alike + they ain`t on flame lol)

Pretty sure there was one in a plane, one on an elephant, and there was one other really funny one I can't recall.
