While it's sad to see Geoff Johns leave GREEN LANTERN after spending nearly a decade expanding the universe, he at least left us with shockingly impressive swan song. If you haven't read GREEN LANTERN #20 yet, go do that right now. It's well worth the cover price. This Tuesday we asked which Johns story was your favorite and the results are now in.

Over 200 Viners voted and one arc rose above the rest: 'Sinestro Corps War.' Earning 40% of the votes (including mine), it's easy to understand why this one blasted apart the competition. While 'Rebirth' is the superb story that kicked off Geoff's time with Hal, 'Sinestro Corps War' is widely considered the go-to tale once you're hooked into the cosmic ride that is Green Lantern. This adventure is nothing short of an epic blockbuster filled with countless jaw-dropping moments, plenty of familiar faces and some truly exhilarating action. Sinestro's might is on full display here and at the end of the day, this is absolutely considered a must read.

Hahaha 0% for the New 52 arcs... They were fine, but not nearly as good as Sinestro Corps War.

The Sinestro Corps War and Batman R.I.P. are the things that really got me into reading superhero comics again. I've always liked superheroes, but I hadn't really been an avid reader like I am now until those two stories. With Johns' and Morrison's stories both wrapping up this year, it'll be pretty bitter-sweet for me.

The Sinestro Corp War was where I came into Green Lantern. Made me go back and read Rebirth and catch up on the rest.

new52 stories....... so good........ NOT

Sinestro Corps War just had this massive "Epic" feel to it as well as a creeping tension as we saw all the pieces start falling into place leading up to the dramatic action packed conclusion and the decision that changed the GL's forever.

My close second was War of the Green Lanterns - Guy and John really shone in this.

In comparison - Rise of the Third Army and Wrath of the First Lantern did not have the same cohesion throughout the books and felt like a massive waffle-fest. Whilst I enjoyed them, it was on no where near the level I enjoyed SCW or WotGL.

I went with Sinestro Corps War as well.

it has been the same creative team with little changes to GL previous history. I personally really liked Secret of the Indigo Tribe and Revenge of Black Hand, although I heard wrath of the first wasnt very good

I would of thought Rage of the Red Lanterns would of had more votes but other than that I agree with the results.

I just started reading the new 52 run, got the first trade, and so far i like it alot.

I wanted the same but I would never vote for Blackest Night so I went for Sinestro Corps War

Coast City lighting up green to support Hal Jordan and the Green Lanterns against The Sinestro Corps...Helluva Family, Helluva Town.

But this arc had too many good things to even list.

I only know about this event tangentially. Now seems as good a time as any to check out this story.

Sinestro Corps War was EPIC!!!, Love how awesome Prime and Cyborg Supes we're portrayed. Wao Agent Orange only got 2 %? That Story was Pure Win, Larfleeze was so OP in that arc, and had the best design (thnks to Philip tan )

Sinestro corps war was the first green lantern story by johns I ever read, it pushed me to get his entire run and iv never been happier!!

If just the recent #20 was counted as an event in itself and listed here I wldve picked that but still Sinestro Corps War!!!! Yeah!! Baby!! Yeah!!

I'm going to be the nice guy & say that I found Third Army & First Lantern quite enjoyable. Sure they're not Sinestro corp or Blackest night but they get enough recognition as it is.

I also loved the Arkillo/Kilowog rivalry

Ring Quest was a great story arc. The best Johns has written IMO.

Well this would be more accurate conducted after Wrath of the First Lantern actually finished and now has time to simmer. No one picked it, but a big reason could be that the final issue hadn't been released when this poll was conducted. Should've waited another week or so to get slightly more accurate numbers, though its still pretty clear SCW and Blackest Night are the favorites.

Third Army was 0% with 2 annuals and 16 issues among 4 books. Talk about wasted potential. Maybe if it was written to be a story in itself rather than written to lead into First Lantern it would have been better.

And then there is the First Lantern... A lot better than 0% but compared with Blackest Night and the Sinestro Wars I can see why it wasn't picked. Wrath had been a quality event with each book having good self contained stories. GL Corps was great during the latest event, it spotlighted different Lanterns and provided great What If? Type of stories. GL New Guards I was not quite sure about. Do they know what they want to do with Kyle? At all?? Clearly he us *special* so why not play it out to the maximum, Kyle's first encounter with the First Lantern was good but after that the book didn't keep par with the event. Red Lanterns... Removing their rage is like neutering a mad dog, just not the same afterwards.

and then then primary Green Lantern title. I am OK with Simon but just don't see the need for another Earth lantern. I'm one of those who believe Hal is the greatest lantern there is and 17-19 just seemed to set up Baz for the future, not something I'm crazy about.

#20 wow, thank you Geoff for a worthy finale. This just wasn't the ending of Wrath of the First Lantern this was the ending of a great and enjoyable comic book run with impact for years to come. The GL universe will forever be greater thanks to Johns' run and unless there is a total reboot his stories will ALWAYS be part of Green Lantern.

@extremis: Actually, 0% does not equal 0 votes. Everything on the poll received a certain amount of votes, it just wasn't enough to qualify as 1%. This poll was made on Tuesday, but it was clearly stated voting would be open until Thursday morning. Assuming people can get their comics on Wednesday, everyone had the opportunity to vote after reading GL 20.

@k4tzm4n: Oh my mistake if I said 0 votes, I just meant to draw attention to the fact it had received 0% - most likely because its inaccurate data (how much we really cant be sure of now). Its obvious that not everyone did have an opportunity as many voted before Wednesday. You could have controlled that easily by waiting til it came out. Also, I would guess most people voted before finishing Wrath of the First Lantern as it coming out on Wednesday just means the people who voted before Wednesday most certainly couldn't have read it yet and even those voting up until Thursday doesn't mean they actually got to finish reading it yet (as we shouldnt forget it was a supersized issue). If the window for voting would have began when people actually had a chance to read the arc, your results would be more accurate. Just some insight.

I have got to get all of these collections especially the sinestro corps war.

Ion vs Superboy Prime!!! And Cyborg Superman in anything is just awesome. I must say Blackest Night really did for me was well.

Wow, Secret Origin got only 5% of the vote? Damn...I thought it would have at least gotten into the double digits. That's...disappointing, at least to me.
