The newest generation of X-Men returns! In a world where the years passed in real-time for the X-Men since their foundation, the newest crop of students at Xavier’s are the children and grandchildren of the heroes we know. But with all the trouble Becka Monroe, Pavel Rasputin, Olivier Raven and company got into last time, they’re not sure they want to go back to school. With Professor Henry “Beast” McCoy watching over them, GeNEXT is striking out on their own!

The team is greeted by beats and Megan as they arrive to pick them up. Megan and oli greet each other in private thanks to psi-sheild. S.H.E.I.L.D and Valeria cooper arrive impressed the kids managed to secure victory, she suggests their skills could be useful then picks up the villains and departs. Hank talks to the team and gives them an option be heroes and forget about school, or go to school and forget about being heroes. He contacts his wife to let her know what’s happening, she thinks he wants the adventure as much as the kids do.

She tells him a storm is coming as they plan to stay on Genosha for the night. Inside the storm a woman is being attacked by purple demons. As the team sits together Megan feels the woman’s presence and danger and establishes a link which is broken by the demons. She guides the woman to them and syncs minds with Rico so they can use their powers in tandem. Bekka fries the demons and calms the storm.

When the woman regains consciousness she reveals she is sati an Indian hero who was under attack by followers of kalima. She and hank are also old friends and the team decides to help her out and return to India with her. It seems fate has made the choice for them.
