Genesis interrupted Askani's mission to warn Cyclops and Jean Grey about the return of Stryfe. This act was blasphemy against the Clan Askani, especially since Genesis used to belong to the group.
The once-mysterious Cable (a.k.a. Nathan Summers) is Cyclops' time-traveling son who was infected with the deadly techno-organic virus during his infancy, which he keeps at bay using his advanced psionic powers. At one time a founding member and leader of the militant team called X-Force, previously known as the New Mutants, Cable takes the aimless youths under his wing and whips them into fighting shape in order to prepare them for future threats.
Cyber is a mutant and an enemy of Wolverine and the X-Men. He is also well known throughout the criminal underworld, where he often hires himself out as a special enforcer, he is currently using the Hornet identity.
Tyler Dayspring linked his mind with Dawnsilk's so as to prevent Cable from teleporting his team away to safety. Cable shot Tyler to free Dawnsilk, but the disruption in the link caused some damage to Dawnsilk's mind.
Though the two never met, Tolliver's death put a price on Nyko's head. Mercenaries thought that since Nyko's brother worked for Tolliver that Nyko would know about the fabled Tolliver's will. Nyko had to shoot him self out of a few situations thanks to this misconception.
Starting out as Tyler Dayspring, Cable's son was a part of the Clan Chosen. He would be captured and turned by Stryfe.
