General Dru-Zod was a member of the Kryptonian military, exiled to the Phantom Zone by Jor-El after attempting to conquer Krypton. When he escaped years later he targeted Superman and his adopted planet Earth.

Zod was once Military Director of the Kyrptonian Space Center, and knew Jor-El when he was an aspiring scientist, but was sentenced to imprisonment in the Phantom Zone (along with 2 of his followers) after trying to take control of Krypton. He took a personal vendetta against Jor-El, who sat on the council that dealt the sentencing, and has attempted to destroy Superman as a means of vengeance, as well as to conquer Earth.
Tess Mercer

Tess Mercer was born as Lutessa Lena Luthor and was the sister of Lex Luthor and the daughter of Lionel Luthor. She became a Checkmate agent and after Lex's disappearance, she took over LuthorCorp. Tess also became the second operator of the Watchtower and a member of the Justice League, but was murdered by her own brother. Month later, it was discovered that Tess's spirit is caught in Lex's mind and was freed by her friends.
Thara Ak-Var

Thara Ak-Var discovered General Zod's conspiracy to spark war between Earth and New Krypton using Kryptonian sleeper agents. She operates under the guise of Flamebird to recapture these sleeper agents and dismantle his plans.
Tyr-Van

Tyr-Van is member of the Labor Guild in New Krypton, one of the first friends Kal-El would make in Kandor.
Zor-El

Brother of Jor-El and father to Kara Zor-El, Zor-El used reverse engineering of Brainiac technology and saved Argo City from Krypton's destruction. killed by Reactron, Zor-El was one of the dead resurrected to become a member of the Black Lantern Corps.
