Original Gaston volume published by Dupuis in an extremely irregular way, reprinting extracts of older issues and adding unreleased material while continuing the original numbering, that already wasn't very logical.
The volume actually started in 1960, but original Gaston issues from #0 to #5 are considered untraceable. Dupuis added new versions of them, gradually and slowly (5 issues in 16 years) in an attempt to fill holes in the numbering. This can be considered as the first Gaston volume, but also as the second, in a desperate try to put some order, excluding those 6 mysterious first issues that were "replaced" with a new #0 and new #R1 to #R5.
The chronological publishing order, anyway, is: (0, 2, 3, 4, 1, 5) then 6, 7, 8, R1, 9, R2, 10, R3, 11, R4, 12, 13, 14, R0, R5, 15.
Marsu Productions published the last issue, #15, in 1995.
Any trace of chronological order is pure coincidence.
