Gambit is a charming master thief turned X-Man. He possesses the mutant ability to charge inanimate objects with kinetic energy, causing them to explode. Gambit's signature move is throwing charged playing cards.

My favourite thing about the many awesome things about this title is that they finally got rid of the pointless head gear. A bold and a wise move, good sirs.

I am defintley down for this. I do not however want to see Assassins Guild drama. BRING IN NEW STUFF and keep him out of New Orleans for a while. That Gambit has been done 231231221839123981 times.

@Kallarkz: I'm actually liking the Assassins Guild in other comics. Scarlet Spider and the X-Force mini but ya give it a rest with Gambit.

Jes! Got Remy and Victor(although that death was kinda poetic, but I guess after seeing him in Hell, it kinda had to happen)! It's not just mini, I hope. REM!

Marvel said the idea was to have a stable creative team behind it as to keep the ongoing running

Me too. Hopefully we'll see him using his powers in different ways. They're too complex for him to just throw exploding cards.

one of the solicits says "Bonus! Bella Donna is not in this issue!" So that's a positive they seem to be avoiding the guild and stuff
