I have a bad feeling. Though a Gambit movie would be great, directors these days sure do know how to self pwn alot.

As soulless and boring as the Wolverine movie was I'd much rather see a Gambit movie, Taylor, Liev and Ryan made that movie watchable. Give me Gambit, Sabretooth and Deadpool movies anyday.

i think if done the right way it could be a good movie.. the only problem i have is taylor kitsch... i think there is definately a better gambit out there.. and in the origins i felt like he forgot he was cajun after a while cause his accent was on and off..

I see a lot of potential with Taylor Kitsch. I think he had the ideas and mannerisms down, but his portrayal wasn't as strong as I think we would have all liked. I really wish they had kept the eyes, though. Then I could have handled the telekenetic/weird bo-staff thing he had going on. The film in general was great, but at the same time it sucked. It had great action sequences and great character portrayal, but a whole lot of things were just off. Loved Deadpool. I usually dislike RR, but he just nailed it imho. Emma Frost was awesome... in the TV spot.

I wouldn't mind seeing Rogue and Gambit, actually. I really enjoy them in the comics and although they are very on and off (irritating, to say the least) they do have great chemistry and are very sexy. In my opinion, I think Gambit used to be a womaniser, a bad guy. From what I gathered he doesn't like the way he was to a degree. He still treads on that fine line between good and bad, but I think he kind of matured in his own way, showing it through his relationship with Rogue and his relation to the X-Men in general. Suffice to say I wouldn't mind seeing a younger, more brash Gambito in action. He would be damned awesome.

I also wouldn't mind if these new films just forgot about what they did to Rogue and got a new actress who was the age she was in the comics. I would be so, so happy. But alas, I doubt it would happen. The Incredible Hulk effect can't come around twice.

a Gambit film would be pointless they allready made him useless in the Wolverine film. i hate Gambit i knew Fox was gonna screw him up i was laughing when Gambit came on screen.

My idea of a Gambit movie would be extremely different from what any studio would be pitching. My ideal Gambit film would be a retrospective love story between Rogue & Himself through many of the X-Men story arcs including his first marriage, His time with the Marauders, his induction into the X-Men, his time as Death of the four horsemen, & his epic battle against New Sun.
