Why is Galactus a necessary part of the Universe, as said by many includin Death. As far as I know, there wasn't one in the last Univeerse.

There was, However the inevitable crunch of the universe ended up killing the power cosmic, and the galactus died, thus speeding up the crunch, well at least that's what I think. 

Also, will the current marvel earth 616 universe go under a big rip like ours will eventually?  And if it goes under a big rip, won't that be the end of it all as there can be no big bounce after a big rip?

in earth x it was explained that galactus was essential because the planets he was feeding on contained celestial seeds and if he didn't kill them then the celestials would overrun the universe

 Yah now I never would a thoht that, buttttt mks sense,
but also couldn't he jst find a way to eat the seeds without killing the planet.

why haven't more people read the earth x series?

Cant get a hold of um  or buy them , like me , there are no comic stores around Middleville, MI so I have to order them or buy collections for the computer with all comics of the FF and IronMan and GhostRider.

you can get the trades from amazon....i recomend it....it's a great series
