The True Power of Galactus

#1 Edited by DarkKnight96000 (730 posts) - - Show Bio

While browsing the forums here I came a cross an interesting post about Galactus stating that at full power he could wipeout the entire multiverse if he wanted to. I Know Galactus is very powerful and often not represented as such in the comics, but I don't think he's that powerfull is he?

I've never seen that stated anywhere. Also, Galactus is almost never at full power. I'm sure he could destroy each universe one by one, but not in one shot. It would probably take him a little time to do. He does have the power to destroy vast sections of space and travel to other dimensions/universes.

He could possibly destroy the universe, though I doubt it. Multiverse? No way.

He can, and he has before.  Galactus is just awesome to watch.

And forgive me for bumping this thread so late.  I just felt there was more to talk about here at this thread.

That's from Fantastic Four 337-341. That's 616 Galactus, but from an alternate time-line.

He can be a multi-versal power with the Ultimate Nullifier. I believe you were referring to these scans:

Those are from Black Celestial Arc (Fantastic Four 337-341).

Galactus may be a universal force, but he can surely be a threat to the universe, multiverse and omniverse.

Universe:

- Guardians of the Galaxy, Protege arc, when they found out what Protege's power was, they said that if he saw Galactus, he would be able to rule the universe and also destroy it. (I have the comic but not the scan)

- Galactus battled ecce, and as a result was destroying the universe, Galactus then created a new universe with his unlimited energy.

Many Universes:

- Galactus was going to be used to destroy the positive-matter universe, as well as the negative zone which is the pathway to infinite universes:

- Galactus' fight with Agammoto was wreaking havoc in many dimensions:

Multiversal:

- When Galactus owns abraxas he mentions that the ultimate nullifier which can erase and create timelines is a part of him:

Omniverse:

Galactus was devouring space and time, and would have destroyed the omniverse:

He has also saved the omniverse from the impossible man:

Galactus' power is also stated as being a threat to all creation.

@higher_evolutionary:

It was in Excalibur I think. The Impossible man is like MXY when he wants to be.

the Impossible Man is ridiculously powerful when he wishes to be, and that's what this story's about.

IM, created a duplicate Earth somewhere in the OMNI-VERSE with every Super Hero and Villain that has ever existed on Earth 616, he even created beings from other sectors of Space and the Real World like Mentor (Thanos's Father) of the Titans, a Watcher, Two Marvel Writers and even the Living Tribunal himself.

Every Hero and Villain:

Inhumans and Asgardians such as: Medusa, Enchantress and others:

(Deceased characters such as)

Captain Marvel, Warlock (before his resurrection) Baron Blood, going to complain to the Living Tribunal ..... lol.

Dr Strange, Count Abyss (I think), and PRE-RETCON Molecule Man (this issue was made in 1989)

Mentor and a WRITER for the X-Men and one from the Avengers being served like Kings by Emma Frost and Multiple Black Queens and She Hulk

A Watcher, Dormammu, Annihilist, and Blastarr from the Negative Zone

Ahhh ..... MORE MADNESS!

A bunch of Alternate Wolverines auditioning for a part in a Comic Book

Finally Galactus puts an end to the madness that was damaging the FABRIC of the OMNI-VERSE!

"This Representation of SOL'S THIRD Planet has grown to silly to be ALLOWED to EXIST, it VIOLATES CAUSALITY"

"There is a Danger of its Madness INFECTING Other LINKS in the SIDEREAL STRING, and thereby doing HARM, to the Fundamental FABRIC of the OMNI-VERSE, therefore it can NO longer be ALLOWED to EXIST"

This was ALL the Impossible Man's doing

Non - canon crossover:

IMP vs MXY:

And Galactus owned him.
