Galactus
Character » Galactus appears in 1750 issues.
Galactus is the infamous "Devourer of Worlds" in the Marvel Universe. His powers are nearly omnipotent. He has appointed several entities as his Heralds, imbuing them with the Power Cosmic. He uses energy from the core of planets and universal sources to sustain himself.
Disney is working on getting Galactus back
I just saw this a bit earlier, and it made me dance around my room. If Marvel got the Fantastic Four back, it would be completely epic, I love the team. Not to mention it comes with Silver Surfer and Galactus, which would be great for Marvel's expanding cosmic side. I'd also love to see Doctor Doom and Latveria in the MCU.
Four words: I. HOPE. THIS. HAPPENS.
@SandMan_: And I'd much rather have the Fantastic Four. I love Matt Murdock, but he and the rights that come with him aren't nearly as important to me as what comes with the FF rights. (Galactus, Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom, and the Fantastic Four!) With the cosmic direction the MCU seems to be taking, the Fantastic Four and its properties will be a very much welcomed addition.

So they'd just be getting ff characters and not the ff? Does that include Dr. Doom? I'm confused.
The Variety article says: "Sources say Marvel would give Fox more time to make DAREDEVIL in return for the rights to use characters from the FANTASTIC FOUR universe, including the giant, world-devouring supervillain Galactus, rumored to play a key role in future Marvel pics."
I'm pretty sure it's for everything involved with the Fantastic Four, I think people are just getting more hyped for Galactus because of the cosmic direction Marvel seems to be taking with Thanos and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Fantastic 4 rights aren't in the deal, Only Silver Surfer Galactus and other characters that were part of the original deal for the F4 rights. The team themselves and I would assume Doom aren't on the table at the moment
The article doesn't make it sound too promising that this will happen. It would be awesome if it did. I'm liking the idea of the Guardians, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Thanos . . . maybe Annihilus if he could be part of the deal with Fox all in one universe. Pretty much all you need for at least 3 movies.
I don't think MARVEL is going to get F4 and/or use of those characters. I do think they can get Daredevil back though and I very excited about that happening. I can just imagine how dope MARVEL Studios can make The Hand, Elecktra, Bullseye and Kingpin be. I'd perfer them get the F4 back, but at the same time I really want to see MARVEL Studios tackle a street level character like Matt Murdock. I think this is a win-win for them. "Let us at least use some F4 characters or give up Daredevil"
I should rather see Daredevil. He's one more street brawler type needed in Marvel Studios. Galactus might fit in with Guardians of the Galaxy, but it's not likely to add anything more to the plot other than a bomb waiting to go off and conveniently diffused.
The old FF movies do suck however I believe the reboot will better much better, which is why Fox should keep Galactus for later movies
Gu-GGGUUURRRLLLL!!! That is such exciting news!!! We need a good Fantastic Four movie, not to mention Galactus at his best and not in cloud formation.
Now if they can only make a deal with Fox and the X-Men.

If this story has any merit to it, it looks like Marvel is hedging its bets that 'Guardians of the Galaxy' will be a solid stepping stone to re-introducing the Marvel Cosmic to cinema audiences. I think it's a smart play. Marvel likely won't get Spiderman or any of the Mutants back, until their cinema usefulness has been stomped into a bloody puddle. So, they need to break new ground and why not with sci-fi? I think movie-going audiences are craving an entertaining, space-faring epic in a similar mold as 'The Avengers'.
this is not true...they've stated that there are no negotiations going on and that Fox does not want to give up key characters in the FF franchise so it looks like Marvel is getting Daredevil back
