gmanfromheck's Futurama Comics #30 - Fry & The Double-Bag, Must-Have Item! review

    Oh how I miss Futurama...

On a whim, I decided to pick up this issue. I've read the occasional Simpsons and Radioactive Man comics and they've been...okay. Not bad. You just get used to the actual animation versus nicely drawn panels.

When Futurama was on, I was almost liking it more than the Simpsons. They almost had more room to spoof society. I hated the way it was treated in the end, horrible time slot not even in Prime Time. Why they didn't show it immediately after the Simpsons is beyond me. But we'll be getting some dvd movies (with ep's to air on tv).

This comic was pretty good. It almost felt like I was watching an old episode. It had it's moments of absurd comedy. Len Wein did a good job writing the characters and the art was spot on for what they should look like. Will I get the next issue? I just might...
